Why Make Wine and Beer?
Winemaking has been a passion of mine for many years, and what I've found is that this hobby is about much more than making premium homemade wine or beer from home. While it is rewarding and to have a 6-gallon carboy full of your homemade wine or beer, it is only part of what makes home winemaking and home beer brewing such a great hobby.
What really makes it great is that home wine-making and home beer-making is a great social hobby. It's about the time we spend with the ones who help us make the finished product. It's about the memories we'll make, the stories we'll tell, and the friends we'll meet. It's about the wine or beer we'll share with our friends and family.
Most of all, winemaking and beermaking is a way to bring people together.
